How to draw an up(ascending) channel

hi yall im going through the school of pipsology and I currently have metatrader 4 and I have the option to insert a channel but

To create an up (ascending) channel, simply draw a parallel line at the same angle as an uptrend line and then move that line to a position where it touches the most recent peak.

how do i do that?

You should connect lowest points on the chart and then copy that line above. As for the uptrend, the support line is the most important.
By the way, there is an other approach: to draw trendlines from the last points, as nearest prices seems to be more important, than previous.
