How to get a payed job? (With no previous work experience.)

I live in a medium sized town and ‘desperate’ to make money, mainly
to cover A level exam fees, training and various living costs, before I start university this September.
Obviously, I would also like to have a good savings account and investment portfolio on
the side.
I refuse to ask my relatives for cash gifts because they’re not particularly wealthy and
I do not want to form a dependency habit and degrade myself.

I am looking at the Job Centre’s website and have looked at the majority of retail positions
but either no vacancies are available or I do not have the appropriate work experience.

In order to get the appropriate work exprerience I am applying to various companies and
schools, and even working in retail.

Really need help on this…
So what would you do in my situation?

Trouble is a lot of people won’t want to invest in training you, knowing that you will pretty soon be off to Uni and then seeking a different job anyway. Couple that with a deep, multi-year recession that has put many skilled workers on the job market, with experience relevant to the sector, and it’s seriously tough. Might have to swallow your pride and ask family, or go into formal debt. Sorry to be blunt, but many retailers have gone to the wall, it’s just the way it is, currently.

If you dont have work experience the best way to attract some atenttion is participate everywhere you can, invest your time in your thing, do extra courses if its possible
