I Am A New Trader I Have Just Opened A Demo Ac**** But I Find It Real Difficult To Place An Order Could You Please Assit In The Following If Its Pending Buy/sell Order

Stop Loss…
Take Profit…
Comment…
Type…
At Price
Also If It Is An Instant Order What Will The Figures For Buy/sell
Stop Loss
Take Profit

hello

please be your brothers keeper do me this favour and let me in into the world of forex on how to place order each time i try it shows invalid entry please help

ok here you go, right click on the chart of the pair you wish to trade, if you have the cross hairs on click twice. then highlite “trading” its the top box. youwill see to the right the option for new order, click that and a new window will pop up.choose your “volume” meaning the amount of lots to trade, it goes from .1 up to 8, then you see the boxes below that for “buy” or “sell”. choose one. a new window will pop up showing the order execution as succesful, you can print if you like or just click ok. to see you order in line item form go to the “view” option (top left)and choose “terminal” it will come up at the bottom of your screen. to enter stoploss or limit on the order right click on the line item and choose “modify or delete order” you will see from there. i suspect your problem has been the volume on your orders is too high and the system will not let you put too many lots if the account doesnt have the funds? could be wrong though. hope this helps. remember that to do alimit order the rate specified must be below market price to buy and above market to sell. and stop orders is the opposite. kind of confusing. hope i got it right. good tradin to you.

Earlier I also used to have problems with placing new orders but then I learned it slowly through forums and now I am able to do it quite comfortably. Forums are really very helpful!!

Yes I agree with you. Forums are very helpful in not only placing orders but also leaning various other things also. People join forums and interact with members and learn new things.
