Hey everyone, first off i love this site, everyone seems to want to help everyone in a very simple but difficult marketplace. I’ve been learing forex for about 4 months. I’ve read many of blogs and many books. I’ve done a lot of demo trading and a little bit of live trading. Forex is the coolest thing ive ever seen! Anyway I came across this book about the s/90 cross over. Its been the only topic that i haven’t been able to wrap my head around. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge about it and if anybody has used this system? Also has anyone soley relied on moving avgs and done well? Thank everybody.
I think most, including myself, will tell you that MA’s alone will not result in a great system.
I always like to see the reviews on Amazon before I buy a book -

And you probably won’t…I looked it up on Amazon and read the reviews…not good
Here’s some partial quotes of those reviews:
[ul]
[li]I just received this book and after 30 minutes, I’m worried I got ripped off. Do your research before you spend $50+.
[/li]
[li]The book is total dreck. Grove repeatedly tantalises the unsuspecting and unwary reader with supposedly instructive examples of how to apply his methods.
[/li]
[li]The only, and I mean ONLY, (slightly) redeeming feature of the book is how he is careful to inject cautionary statements about how a reader’s actual performance in the market can vary. That is, you can and probably will, lose money.
[/li]
[li]I gave this book 1 star only because it wouldn’t let me give it zero. This book is a 50+ dollar advertisement for his companies. He mentions indicators that are only available through his charting service. I’m pretty easy going, if I get even one piece of useful information from a book I consider it worthwhile. Not this book, it is a RIP-OFF!
[/li]
[li]I agree with the previous review. The descriptions are very difficult to understand. The indicators mentioned are only briefly discussed. The only way to implement any of the strategies is subscribe to their charting service and to truly understand probably would require a mentor.$50 for a marketing pitch.
[/li]
[li]I have perused this book. I have many books on Forex and have been a Forex trader for several years. Like the review from Brad S. , I would proceed cautiously. The outset of this book targets novice traders.
[/li]
[li]I am usually able to find something worthwhile in a book but this one was an exception. The book is full of unexplained terminologies and contains very little description of the indicators the methodology dwells upon. There is continuous reference to “using a mentor” to understand it better, which happens to be the author’s company if you want to use their techniques. [/ul]

Hope I didn’t burst your bubble
The system that is explained makes sense but the company that has the charting service wants 130 a month to suscribe sounds like a scam. They use this river oscillator that looks like a stochastic. Just curious on anyones knowledge about it cause their clients say they get 400 trades right in a row and its like a contest who gets the most. I know the old saying believe nothing u hear and half what u see!
got the book stupid cheap ($20), No bubble bursted, Elliot wave has been working pretty well for me hopefully better when this market isnt so consolidated
Sorry wrong forum
You can find everything you need to know through research on the internet. If it ain’t free it ain’t for me.
