Hurricane Florence heading for east coast of US - Now CAT1

Take care everyone, stay safe!

Hmmm… tying oneself to a tree in such weather. Doesn’t sound very clever.

Nice one upmanship on the worst storm contest, but I think you meant kph, not mph. It’s down to 285 kph (180 mph), but still a serious threat to those that live in it’s path and concern for those that don’t.

You’re right, it should have been 325kph.
I saw it on CNN and guess I just expected it to be mph

Right, just saw the news of this!

Still here, had a tree go down on a house in Wake Forest, the family was inside, obviously they were freaked, but they were OK, the house not so much.

The Ever Under The Log VIPER

Any major flooding around you, @TradeViper ? Looks like the rain was still coming down around your way all weekend. I can’t imagine it has anywhere to go!

Hey F thanks for asking, no biggie here in rural wake county, some rain, wind but nothing spectacular, other than gloomy muggie days. Friends down in Wilmington got hammered with flooding, but not a lot of wind damage. They know the risk, just like the Mrs and I knew living in SOFLA, again thanks for asking.

The Ever Appreciative VIPER

Yea, saw the Wilmington mess. Terrible.
