After I lost all my money trading in 2006 I was broke and earned money cutting grass in peoples gardens doing odd jobs, I had no car and shared an apartment that had no heating. So when i had 500 USD I opened my account again at a time I was ready to win instead of loosing again. WE are all responcible for our own situation is what I am saying. We are on this site to share free information and learn from each other…I have posted my trading system on this site and its free. If you belive in yours , give it to someone you trust and they will surely pay you something if it works out. If your system works then on minis all you need is 100 bucks

You need focus if you want the develop your own EAs. Focus on the core components necessary for a complete trading system.

Sometimes seemingly legit brokers are found out later to be scam. But often times there are people that are paid to promote brokers.
Contrarian-ism in itself will not always work (doing exactly the opposite). It’s more the point that continuing to implement the same strategy or method without modifications and expecting a different result will not give you different results.
In regards to the comments on “no one would sell a working system” or “there is no such thing”, not sure why so many people insist that a working indicator or system cannot be sold or given away (see first response in this post above). Healthy skepticism is one thing, but when combined with poverty [mindset], it really holds people back from taking [I][B]informed risks[/B][/I]. Is a system that works well for you supposed to fall out of the sky or wind up on your VPS somehow? The OP looks like he is genuinely looking for a successful system. He does need to clarify what a working system means to him…that is the first step.

$5000 for a EA… I have an EA that I could sell you for $5000.
The EA I have is a trading strategy that I have manually traded for over 2 years, I then developed it into a semi-automated EA were it alerted me to buy\sell opportunities with the necessary stop loss and take profit positions, it has then evolved into a fully automated EA.
This has enabled me to make quite a reasonable additional to my normal 9-5 salary, making a steady 6-10% on my trading account.
But there’s a problem, based on the fact that I have manually traded my EA for 2 years, semi-automatied traded the EA for 6 months and been running the fully automated EA for just over 8 months now, that’s 38 months and @ roughly 40 hours per month, that is 1520 hours over the 38 months. I charge £20 per hour for my job so that values the EA in man hours @ £30,400.
That leaves you short by £25,400, (not counting future protential earnings). Granted that no one is willing to pay me £30k for an EA, the ones I do sell are well forward tested and are charged at £500 per currency pair and tied down to an account number, or £50 to test across the 4 majors on a demo account.
The point I’m trying to make is, I have seen bold claim on this and other forums that people are willing to part with $5000 yet I have seen very few people on the internet to stump up that amount of cash…
I won’t never ask $5000 for my EA even it is very profitable and stable, because I can make money with it… Better I sell it to 100 people and change their life

Only highly specialized niche strategies can be consistently successful as auto-trading systems, within strictly controlled environments (specific brokerage, spreads, costs, response times), etc. Otherwise, you’re wasting your time.

You don’t have to “pay up” for anything. If you’ve not found something around here that works for you (for FREE) then it simply does not exist. OF COURSE (and if you’ve got a decent amount of capital which, if you are willing to “pay up” $5 000 for an EA, you obviously have) take a look at trading CFDs on Equities, Commodities, Futures, Indices, etc. (everyone else: “spare the arrows”)!!! LOL!!! Click on my username at the top of this post (“dpaterso”) and visit my homepage (and so on and so forth i.e. there’s many “buttons” over there for you to click on if you’re bored)!!! LOL!!! Unfortunately: I’ll be away from today until next Tuesday so if you DO decide to take my advice and contact me and don’t receive a reply then you know why. That being said: there’s a LOT of “stuff to digest” that should keep you busy until I get back!!!

P.S. Oops. Just realized that this was a “corpse thread” (well close to it anyways). Oh well and no matter: STILL no point in “paying up” for what you can get for free (and then some). Rather put your money into a trading account than pay some charlatan or “snake-oil salesman” (unless you only have $100 or so in which case you may as well go and have a nice lunch or give it away to whichever charity you choose)!!! Hell: I even found somebody the other day on the Internet that has “neatly packaged” that “Cowabunga” system that everybody raves (raved???) about and is SELLING IT!!! RIGHT HERE (in SA) no less!!! It makes me “sick to the stomach”!!! Anyway: there’s my “rant for the day”!!!
