i gather youve googled your life away getting those 10 already, so gots nothing more to add, since i use the one on MT4 when trading off MT4 and it seems, without being esoteric or anything, good enough to help feed my ferret !

Glad you are doing well too. This was a great post - summed up how I feel exactly. It will take a while for me to convince myself that I’m not just getting lucky with my simple method of basically, range trading. I try to find the top of the current trading range, go short & reap a profit, then do just the opposite when I’m at the bottom of the range. I looked a bit more at Forex.com’s tick chart last night, and I might make use of it to see if it helps me in my trading. Seems simple enough, and like you said, some people complicate matters a bit more than need be. You said you grew $175 to $1000 in 30 days. Seems like I’m on the way there as well. Would you mind divulging the current balance of your fortune, now that you’ve been doing this a bit longer?

Thanks for the kind words, and the ‘go girl’! I plan to learn and grow more each day as a trader, as it seems totally worth the effort. How long have you been at it? Would you consider yourself to be successful?

im the guy all dressed in white, riding a white stallion and counting my silver bullets as i ride off into the sunset, having just saved another town from the desperadoes. 20 years trading, 6 forex and run a NYS registered financial holding company which is a vague way of saying i can do anything i wish in the financial world.
What i think of myself isnt of great import, but my clients remain with me for years at this point, especially as i never got involved in that real estate bubbly thingie !
if youre wondering “can i do this as a full time job ?” the answer is a resounding YES and it doesnt have to come close to being FULL time at all — i know traders that make trades a few times a week and thats all she wrote !

from experience, a “range” trader such as yourself would find little value and perhaps some danger in using “tick” charts as youre already working off of defined support and resistance areas and pretty well know your entries and exit points.
its my opinion, of course, but tick charts tend to be the domain of the “scalper” and not the longer (even if its an hour) trader !
what would be very good for you would be “barrys s+r” chart overlay, although im sure youve already got lines that youre using – camarilla pivots if i remember correctly !

Hello MP.
Seems to me, though, being a newbie, my opinion may not count for much, that you and I have a common bond in that we both like to watch our accounts grow.
Saying that, those who are quick to criticize must be somehow annoyed by that.
By the way, I’m up 314 pips on EU since about 1:15 am and am currently scalping short. Hoping for 4140. but taking time into consideration, am ready to pull the plug on that one any minute.
