I have had the same issue with GFT but only on weekends.
I think (I stand to be corrected) that the matter is one of [U]no signal [/U]because the trading finishes on Saturday and re-starts on Monday.
So it was with GFT anyway.

I know that brokers generally do not run your stops but…
You [U]did not notice[/U] this on the demo account.
Something is definitely different on the real account.
I remember a poster some time ago complaining about the same thing as you.
I cannot remember who it was or what broker they had.
But I do know that they switched to another broker, FX Sol, and they never had another problem with this running stops matter.
I do not use FX Sol myself, so I am not biased.
Yes I realize that there is no streaming data on the weekends, but IBFX has always allowed me to log in on the weekend and get the latest data from the close on Friday. Now all I get is “waiting for update” on my chart windows. :mad:

Did you get the email from IBFX. I did. We will have to login to a different server on the Sunday open. The trading account and password will be the same. The new server they instructed me to login to will be “MT4 Mini Accounts 4”. It is probably the same for you.
I haven’t tried yet. I will wait for the market open.
For the record IBFX doesn’t run stops.
The few times they re-quote you, you get re-quoted if prices moves in your favor or out of your favor.
I had a micro one time with a small non U.S. firm. They only re-quoted you if price moved out of your favor. IBFX will even give you a re-quote at a better price at times. Of course you will click yes to that. Very impressive to me.
I have a joint account with someone else, so they got the email in their junk mail as they’re the primary account holder. After doing everything they said in the email as well as the link, I couldn’t get logged in. (Server 4 was not on list, tried manually putting on list, tried downloading .svr file)
I just downloaded the MT4 platform from their site again and reinstalled it over top of my old one. It let me log in ONCE… it had only one day’s worth of data, the 25th, I couldn’t see back any further. Now I can’t log in AT ALL doing exactly the same thing.
I guess I won’t be trading this week :mad::mad::mad:

I went ahead and tried. I didn’t get a live update so I had to download the platform again to get the server 4 to show up. Then I got the exact same problems you are having. I hope this is fixed by the open.
If I’m not getting a connection by 6:30 (half hour after market opening) I’ll log into their live chat or send them an email… I’ll keep you updated on my results either way.
I hope this is just a one-time thing, because if they close down for the entire weekend from now on my system/strategy is screwed D:

At least that worked for me. It will be kind of annoying if I have to do that every time, because it doesn’t save that link… hopefully they fix that.
I also only get 1 day’s worth of data and I can’t see anything historical past that. Right now I can’t really do **** with my Daily and 4 hour charts, it just appears as a line! It’s showing an error that “history cannot synchronize” in the Journal tab[/B]
(15 minute wait, I imagine they got swamped with complaints.)

That got me logged in but no more than a days data.
It looks like they have IT issues.
I don’t want to have to paste that in everytime either.
You can now log in the “easy” way using the drop-down menu again… at least it’s working for me.
Historical data is still not showing up though. I think I’ll go back to chat about it just to let them now… looks like no trading tonight

Well, maybe they will have it fixed by the London open. Thanks for sharing the info.
Final note, I have my historical data all back to the 1970s again. You might need to Refresh your charts (right click - Refresh) to update them. It’s kin dof slow having to refresh every chart, but it works.
Overall they handled it pretty good I guess, 2 1/2 hours after open and everything is fixed.

I placed my trades and logged out, now I can’t get back in again… oh noes! It was all fixed and then they ruined it again.
Oh, I can get in but I have to copy and paste that server link… hmm. I’m done for tonight.
