Interesting results on the learning curve from new traders

Hi everybody,

I have been trough the school of pipsology, and did the quizzes after each section.
On reviewing my quiz results I noticed the fact you can see how many times the quiz was taken.

I plotted this amount of participants to the number of quiz in the school (where 1 is the quiz “what is forex?” 2 is “why trade forex” etc.)

Quite interesting is to see the amount of “dropouts” in the school, where more than 100.000 people started the school and did the first quiz, and on the last few sections of the school (senior grade) the amount of participants average at around 3000. This means 97% of the new traders did not have the discipline to finish the school:o

Also interesting is to see a clear dip in a nice curve at quiz number 6 (Brokers 101). This shows that a lot of traders pay very little attention to what broker they are using and if it actually suits their style.
Even though there are less “bad” brokers compared to the early days, I believe you should still pay a lot of attention to choosing your broker.

Thought I’d share this with you all.

Happy trading!
