I think you have chosen a good place to safely learn about Forex trading. As a student you may have a lot of time on your hands to pursue subjects of interest. Whilst I studied engineering a long time ago, my interests were more aligned to bridge, poker and snooker / pool. And just before I graduated, those new fangled machines in pubs like Space Invaders and BreakOut.
I have not changed much over the years, and a recent graduate introduced me to play to earn DeFi gaming. You may wish to look into the subject. Whilst I find Forex quite difficult to prove a continuous positive edge (i.e., to continuously make money) I find the concept of decentralized finance, and crypto gaming play to earn a particularly fascinating subject. It started with Axie Infinity, but I think there are many stunning opportunities out there right now that are worth doing a reward / risk analysis on.
Look at the crypto section for some inspiration. But do not let that detract from the School of Pipsology for basic well written introduction to Forex trading.
