Hi I’m DebbieT from Brisbane, Queensland in Australia. I don’t have a lot of experience in trading yet, but that’s why I’ve joined this site. After reading a book and attending a free workshop about Forex trading I’ve decided I’d like to learn more. I’ve been a stay at home mum for some 18 odd years and now that my youngest (18 this year) has her licence, a car and finishes year 12, there’s no more driving her here, there and everywhere. So now I have my life back - what to do? My husband has his own business and I wanted to find something to do that would earn me an income (get some of my own independence back) while still giving me the freedom of not being tied down in an office. Which brings me to this site and trading. After attending the free workshop on forex trading and then doing some research on the company I came across this site, so here I am ready to begin my journey and now let that journey begin …

Welcome to the boards, Debbie. As Kashif pointed out; do the Babypips school. You can learn everything you need to know about how to trade forex for free. There are a lot of people out there that charge for training and such that you could get from the Babypips school. (I point this out because those free workshops like the one you attended are usually vehicles to get people to buy their mentoring/training services.) Not saying that they can’t be useful; just that you don’t really -need- it particularly with how much some of those people charge.

No Queensland is one state of Australia and the Gold Coast is one area in Queensland, I actually live in a suburb thats about an hour and a half away from the Gold Coast.
Oh nice… My aunt currently live in the Gold Coast area then her 2 daughters ( my cousins) live in Sydney. I heard it was beautiful there…
