Hi everyone, I’m Samuel from Nigeria. First time I heard about forex trading was 2019 when I was making a research online on different ways to make money. I took my time to make some research on forex trading after finding out about it, it was then I got really attached to it. I’m not a pro yet infact I see myself as a beginner because since have gotten to know about forex trading have not been privileged to meet anyone who’s ready to teach me. I’ll be 26 this year I know I’m not a kid anymore lol. I’m happy I came across this beautiful community and I hope by joining this community my knowledge about forex will increase into a profitable one.
Being knowledgeable does not necessarily mean being profitable. While experience is a key criteria, so is emotional and money management control. Far better to always focus on process and let money take care of itself.
For example, I use a strategy that relies on a probability edge in my favour. Once identified, I use a 4Hr chart to let the trade run without looking at the screen until the following morning, because it’s my way of emotional control. But that needs to be strengthened to accommodate a trailing S/L. Which is work in progress.
