I think “better regulation” is the only realistic answer that can help people and make it easier for CFD trading to survive for the long term. My opinion is that people who want to preserve freedom and broadly to prevent things from being made illegal should be in favour of effective regulation, not opposed to it. Otherwise they’ll just end up shooting themselves in the foot, as they always have done in the past. And there’ll be more and more regulators, and they’ll be worse and worse. And nobody wants that.

I wholeheartedly support better regulation. The U.S. regulators only took the path they did in 2007 was to safeguard their domestic financial sector; there is a long story behind that, but I won’t get into it. What’s done is done.

I haven’t looked back since I went offshore in 2007.
