Is Forex. com a good broker?
Yeah they are pretty popular choice among newbies but if you want something more serious I would suggest to consider Hotforex, IB or Tickmill
FOREX.com operates in the US and UK, which have the strictest regulatory requirements. They are also one of the biggest and longest-running retail forex providers.
They’re not just for newbies. For serious traders, they offer DMA trading (which most retail forex providers don’t offer).
Gain Capital, the owner of FOREX.com, actually use to run an institutional FX ECN, called GTX, which they sold to Deutsche Börse Group’s FX unit, 360T and is now called 360TGTX.
Behind-the-scenes, smaller retail forex brokers would connect to them to access liquidity.
Other serious choices (meaning you trade multiple standard lots) would be Interactive Brokers or TD Ameritrade (Thinkorswim).

It is a good broker for newbiews and FOREX. com provides forex traders everything they need, and more, to trade effectively.
