I am a New to Forex Trading, I’ve just started trading with some EA’s with demo accounts. Since I started doing this every time I am getting atleast 50% of the initial deposit amount in less then a week, I just wanna know that is this a normal thing that everyone can get this result in demo accounts and at the same time can i repeat this in a live account. I heard lot of people said that live trading result will differ from demo trading.
I have attached the 3 days statement copy of my latest demo account from alpari.
while your performance may be inspiring your trading style may not be suited to different trading environments, for example if your style is trend following and its a range-bound market or vice versa than you may be in for a ride.
I would suggest waiting it out for at least 6 months and if youve made a profit for all 6 then you may be ready, however one factor most noobs cant and never take into consideration is your emotions when trading live money, thats the final lesson.
Demo trading is way different from actual trading, in demo you may feel like playing so there is no pressure and you just go on hitting the best bets. But when it is now actual, it will a lot more different, you will be more cautious and you might get tense once in a while. Its is true that you need more time to practice before jumping on the actual activity.
Open a live account and find out, asking on here won’t help you, you’ve already said you’ve heard a lot of people say it isn’t the same, what do you want another “lot” of people to tell you the same thing?
Thanks for your comments guys, really appreciate it.
@forexdawn2010: Yes, i asked the same thing again but based on my statement that i attached, not general. Anyway you are right, i have to open a live account and check it.
That is the wiset thing I’ve heard all day. Guess it is easier to trade like a robot when there is no actual risk because you’re using a demo account. Once you go live, human emotions and the risk of losing real money can play a major part in how you operate.
I will take this words into consideration when it is my turn to go from a demo account to a live account.
