It's had over 19,000 pips since Jan 2007!

check this EA out peeps… I purchased this software licence from the forex police and given all that ive read in this forum you want to check this out. it shows over 19,000 pips on a strategy tester with a max drawdown of 2,000 pips!

a few things you should know… It runs on meta trader 4 through IBFX. load a daily line chart GBPJPY (it only runs on this currency paring).

i have tried many ea’s and found that most are sh*t. i’ll let you make up your mind on this one.

All the best!

Jamie

hey, have you tried it live? what’s the performance so far?

backtest = crapppppp…

Just ran a backtest on my IBFX MT4 from Jan of 09 to Feb 1 of 2010. $10,000 turned into $15,81.67.

I’ll look into this more.

EDIT: I’ll let it run on demo and see where it takes me.

that’s weird… i jz ran back test with Alpari UK and no trade at all from 1/1/09 t0 4/2/10… setting was GPD/JPY and in daily period…

is it has to be IBFX MT4?

Hey 5ive5… I’ve been live with it for the past 4 months. showing just ovr 650 pips profit :D. its the biz! the most ive been down is 280.

the EA must be run on IBFX (ibfx . com) - it dont run on any other broker apparantly (i never tried).

it did miss the GBPJPY drop today tho… over 400 pips down today!

Jay

Just taking a guess yes it does. I would imagine it’s coded in a way that it uses the IBFX suffix on the GBP/JPY pair so it doesn’t work on other brokers. It’s an ex4 file so I can’t decompile it and check it out.

I’ve got a decompiler somwere. Maybe I can check that out. I also tried it on Alpari and it didn’t work

care to PM me that decompiler? i could use it

i noticed that this ea was trying to change my first trade for some reason (happened to be a short on E/U) it kept giving that trade a 144.8 SL… LOL

It is set to use only IBFX
Here is the source code. You will have to change the extension to .mq4 and then change the IBFX part and then compile it if you want it to work with a different broker.

I just noticed besides the broker restriction, looks like it expires 4/3/2010 look near the top and you’ll see that date and a time. Change it to the year 2013… According to the History chanel and Nostradamus and the Aztecs we should all be dead by then. How come they knew so much? lol

jz ran back test with ibfx between 1/1/09 - 1/2/10 and the profit is whooping $4498.39 from initial deposit of $1000. using 0.1 lot size.

Thanks TalonD for the source code

looks interesting, but i can’t get it to work for some reason.

Crikey guys, blatantly posting up copyrighted / licenced software - Baby Pips will end up with a lawsuit!

oops! sorry baby pips. I didn’t expect it to be ripped off. :o

Jay

hi jay,
how’s the performance so far?

i tried to run back test but i don’t get the 19000pips as claimed (i’m not sure if i did the right way to back test)… below is by back test on each yr since 2004

2004 +1049
2005 -7.84
2006 +1269
2007 +2965
2008 +1223
2009 -529

as far as the result concern, 2007 was the most profitable year… probably that’s why the EA only allow back test from that year…

Dont get it - your previous post said your backtest showed roughly 400% account increase between 01/09 and 02/10, but this says 2009 lost 529 pips??

ops  you are right, i don’t actually remember i did the previous back test…
probably something is not right on my settings… will try again and post later…

I asked the forex police this very question 5ive5… they told me that due to strict regulations enforced on them they could only allow the EA to perform a strategy test from 2007 because it was all that they could provide proof for live testing. apparantly regulated EA companies must provide evidence of real live results. strategy testing is not valued.

the performance is not too bad… it closed from a buy position this morning with 94 pips profit and is now in a sell at 142.03 - fingers crossed (keep you posted). I am considering going for their virtual hosting option… my pc is red hot!   could fry an egg on it mmm.

laters!

Jay
