Is there anybody out there that knows of a honest broker? I know that this is a toughie. As the scammers are out there and ready to send your trading positions south. (Via their dealing desks, server software or a combination of the two.) I have had two accounts now. And have had to close both due to dishonest practices. i.e. gunning of stops, re-quote, re-quote, re-quote, etc. . . Well, I am sure that you get the picture. I just don’t see the value of learning how to trade. And getting good results on a demo account. Then when you go live, the brokers are conspiring against you. BIG TIME!!! So, if anyone can make a recommendation from their own experience. (No insiders please). I will entertain the possibility that a honest forex broker may in fact exist. Although I must admit the possibility of Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy and Peter Pan are probably more likely. ** Attention Insiders, I have seen your shenanigans in action. The use of the word firm in the preceding sentence can be translated to bucket shop.
I don’t know where you’ve traded, so it might be an adjustment, but you could try something like Oanda if you aren’t using MT4, EA’s and all of that.
As with anywhere, if you set tight stops the market will gun for them, but I don’t think that Oanda is doing the gunning. Except during news events and holidays I find the spreads are pretty stable.
