So I’m being really dim and struggling to find a way of calculating the pip value if the leverage changes. On line there are pip calculators but none have any link to leverage. So if I placed a one lot trade of US30 and stop loss of 15pips how do I know what the value of this 15 pips is in money if the leverage is 100:1 or 10:1?
Anyone help???
Leverage is not affect to pip value, it is affect to margin. Finish the BP education section, then go back to practice. Regard Greg
yes agree , it not affects pips value only margin affects .
yup as said above, pip value doesn’t get affected by leverage. Leverage is only on your margin. However, higher leverage will allow you to open a higher lot which that is the one will affect your pip value.
I think it is worth going back over the learning material and studying what leverage actually impacts.
