+45
+80 on offer if exited properly.

I watched the EURUSD this morning for a minimal +19pips.

How do you identify which will be the more profitable of the pairs to trade the breakouts on open? I’ve just started following the system every mornind and even though I’m waking up at 3:00am EST to try it out, I do like it’s simplicity.

Go back in time on your EU & GU charts…1h TF.
And all shall be revealed to ya.

shouldn’t GU generally have bigger breakouts due to it’s higher volatility? There would be exceptions of course but in general? I’ve got both those pair on one chart now (thanks SM) and doing a comparison

If I had a choice (I actually only trade the breakout on GBPUSD), I would pick the pair that had the most room before the next SR point and the one that had the most momentum that morning. You can use an SMA to measure this if you want but you can just see it on the candles.

You don’t want to see volatility. It’s deadly because of the pullbacks and resulting spikes.

You wan’t to see areas of price were you have had breakouts in the past without volatility. In those areas of price you have a very high probality that PA repeats itself.

Take a GU 1h TF…zoom in and have a look @different areas of price. Also have a look @coresponding candles and time of the day.

That’s what you want to see in a breakout…solid candles with very short wicks and steep PA angle.

There is hell of a lot more to trading breakouts than simply taking a signal of a trendline break.

well I’ve been reading up on volatility and getting a better understanding of it so I can see your point.

Looks like it has more pips. However, this was where my point of exit happened.

Not a good trade off the upper trend line break. I exited with a loss and took it when it broke the lower trend line ** No rules followed here. This trade was break even
