I use a tier 1 regulated broker who offers MT4/MT5 & Ctrader. MT4 is very simple and is the first choice for newbies.

I can suggest Cleo one for the demo trading. There are some useful ratios such as sharp ratio, statistics like win-loss ratio, and every time your strategy open&closes a trade you can get an email along with the profit-loss you made.

Most brokers should let you have unlimited access to a demo account. Avoid those that don’t and try and force you into going live.

Most brokers will let you have as many demos as you like but be careful as you want to treat it like a live account and not a ‘ah i can start another tomorrow’ thatll get you no where
