Looking for a specific trading platform

Hey,

Im looking for a specific platform that allows me to enter a “stop loss / take profit” in pips or ticks before placing a trade.

I know MT4 and Ninjatrader both have these but I was hoping some knows of a platform there I can do this on a web browser of mobile platform.

I know some mobile platforms have a stop loss but its a clunky system of having to press the up/down buttons and calculating it all on current price where as I just want to have a quick 5-12 SL-TP.
Exactly like ninjatraders ATM system

Thanks

I am sure that MT4 has a browser and mobile version too. Whether your broker supports them depends on them, call them and ask them.

Never used this kind of service before (placing SL & TP before my entry point). It looks interesting, let me check please.

I know ninjatrader lets you choose the TP/SL before entering the trade.

If I could use it on a web browser that would be great as I don’t want to download NT or MT4/5 as I use a MacBook.

I believe LCGTrader let you do this if I’m not mistaken. From what I understand it’s their version of cTrader. Runs in your browser.

Without setting the trading lots size?

I have an account with ETX Capital in the UK which offers enormous Stop flexibility (including partial Entries/Exits). The account was free to open, subject to passing the usual money laundering checks. I use eSignal (or MT4, sometimes) for charts, but enter using ETX Capital.

Trading platform is too much important in trading. You can do trade on that platform. So, be careful while choosing the platform. You must have to read about that platform before choosing it. The best platform also helps you to learn about the forex market from their demo account.

Yes, traders need to select the broker after using their demo (more than 2 months) and make sure the enough numbers of positive reviews in the interest.

Ok, trying to cut through the language static here. Imo new traders (or struggling traders) shouldn’t need to open a demo account at all to learn how to be a forex trader. As a greenhorn trader the whole process of finding the “right” broker adds to much useless noise in a period where he/she don’t know anything anyway, and it adds pressure to spend real money long before he/she can show consistent results. The broker decision can be left to a later stage. A new trader should find themselves a pro charting platform they like and can get comfortable with and trade simulated on that platform for a long time. No need to open a demo account, your charting platform will have all the data feeds you need included. You can get a pro charting platform with feeds for as little as 20-30 bucks per month if i recall correct, it’s peanuts.

Metatrader 4 has a desktop and mobile versions (for ios and Android). So you can use it both on your computer and your mobile device.
