Looking for a trading partner!

Hi everyone, I’m a long time reader of this site and first time poster. I’ve been using demo, testing and tweaking many different strategies for about 1 year and I’m finally making the choice to go live. What I’m looking for is someone who day trades live and who has access to their trading almost 24/7 who would be willing to trade my system and hopefully share a portion of the profit for a bit so I can make some start up capital. Trades can take place basically anytime 24/7 and net about 5-10 avg pips per trade with trades lasting anywhere from 5 minutes to 4 hours (avg 30min) with a max drawdown of about 30 pips. Avg trades per day is anywhere from 2-5. In about 5 weeks of demo trading I havent seen a loss with the system, but I’m sure I will eventually, and when it does occur, it will never be more then 30 pips. I’m not sure if its proper etiquette to post this here, if not, I apologise, but I’ve spent sleepless nights for weeks trading this system and want to get started live. Hi blazefx

I have the time and could trade your system but I don’t have the capital. I guess I am in a similar position to you in that I am using a system that has worked on demo and I have been getting my feet wet on a live account but not with a large amount of capital. I am compounding my gains so hopefully at some point I may be able to help you. If it is time you are after, I can help but I get the impression that what you need is capital.

BlazeFX, just curious, how long have you traded the system and did you trade it with an actual demo account or just backtest results? How many trades per day average?

Personally i don’t like trade on scalping type style 'cause it is only 20-50 pips gain…and risk about same…

It is like going to casino…Rather look at long term trade…Win BIG…Don’t need to trade all the times.

been trading the system for about 2 months on demo, and its average about 2-3 trades per day.

Did you modify the strategy at any point during those two months? And did you profit the whole two months, or just part of the two months?

I would need system details before making a decision, as you are aware there is a difference between demo and live trading. I trade live 12 -16 hrs pd and have done so for over 5 years. I trade close of Asian.London and NY open

Hi kockneerebel,

When you say trading 12-16hrs per day, does this mean you are on the Computer for that much time. Also does this mean that you trade for a living

please, use a very very micro account, at less you will not be to desapointed by yourself.

You know what, after one year of demo, you still need one year of real of you need to know if you are for this thing or not.
