i’m using a FBS demo account with 100 USD this the fourth time that i’m wining but the profit stays in negative and when the value hit profit stop it didn’t stop as for Profit stop here says 7 USD while the profit says negative 3 USD is this a bug or due to FBS High spread which is 10 points
10 points sounds horrendous but what are we talking about?
Which market?
Are we talking pips that the market recognises or points that your broker has defined?
What time of day (relative to London, UK) is the spread 10?
How wide does the spread go when NY is closed?
For example, I am quoted 1.08442-1.08447 for EUR/USD right now, 0801 UK time. This is a spread of 0.5 pips: pips are the 4th digit here: points are the 5th digit, so in points the spread is 15 points. A spread of 10 points is not unusual, a spread of 10 pips is untradeable.
Here in AUDCAM the difference in the click trading is high i dont know if this is why it wont stop when hitting the profit and says it in negative in the trade screen this photo is from this time
You’re being quoted a 10-pip spread on AUD/CAD. I’m being quoted 3 pips. Trading very short-term - you’re using 10-minute charts - is going to kill your account with such wide spreads. Remember if you enter at a certain point and price moves in your direction 9 pips, you’re still making a loss.
Get a broker with narrower spreads or use a more liquid major forex market or lengthen your trade time periods.

i can see but in the photo now i’m over 40 pips so i should profit 30 pips but it says profit in negative 4.48 USD so this is a bug or what and

You’re mixing up pips, which is the way the market divides prices - this is the 4th digit in the price quote - and points, which is the 5th digit, the smallest price figure that your broker will let you trade on.
I agree, you seem to be in profit but by 3 pips (or 30 points), not 30 pips. But I can’t see why your screen shows a loss.
so this happens after i added many indicators so this may be related to the bug or it doesn’t matter ?
I didn’t think that would cause any problem to the platform or quotes.
But using multiple many indicators is not helpful to trading in general.
Yeah i’m only using 2 as a reference not to decide anything i’ll try another broker demo then but the problem is all minimum deposit demo is 1000 if you know any broker with 100 USD demo please tell me.
because i’m planning to start a real account with a 100 usd so i want to train before.
i used a 1000 USD demo account and made a 165 USD profit in a day and with this 100 usd i made 70 usd in one day too so i wonder is there any parameters differ from demo to real account rather than real money? and thanks in advance
The demo account platform should be just an exact duplicate of the live account platform.
Come to think of it, some demo platform charts and quotes are delayed by e.g. 15 minutes - this could make a difference to a very short-term strategy and I wonder if the chart says the price 15 minutes ago and the gain/loss figure is “live”, so there is a 15 minute gap between the two?
