I want to know how to calculate the maximum lot size we can take on Xau/usd with a capital of 100k and with a leverage 1:1

If leverage is 1:1 then you are not levered and you pay what ever spot gold is trading at…
A more effective way to lever up would be to trade gold futures or better yet, options on futures or options on gold etfs. Or, just buy the etf.
