Hi guys,

Has anyone ever previously set up or have FX accounts which are managed by professional traders?

Basically accounts set up where trades taking place on your account mirror the trades made by experience brokers who are also using the same broker?

After playing around on demo accounts for a few months I have finally set up a live account but still am not confident enough to place real time trades. One of the products offered by my broker are these managed accounts where trades will be made on your behalf and you pay a volume and profit fee for the trades taking place.

What are your thoughts on the above product?

If you don’t know how to trade solo, I would suggest you to either learn first or open an account at hedge fond and let them manage your money.

My opinion is that you should stay away from those. I am not saying that 100% are bad, but the chances that you actually get access to a good one are very slim. True professional traders will not manage you money unless you have sizable investments as it is not worth it to them to mess around with $10K or $20K.

I think you are better off to take your time and learn how to trade until you feel comfortable doing so.
