This demo account has been working very well for me as you can tell. But it’s not that realistic…As I probably won’t open a live account with 10k…
But that’s ok because my system can be tailored to any account size… so last night I decided to purposly margin call my demo account…
I bought 1000 lots ($1,000,000 worth of GBP/JPY) at 244.00 and got magin called around 242.75 for a loss of about 10,000 and all other positions got closed as well for a total loss of $12,000.
But now my account reflects a more accurate opening balance to what I will open live with ~$5k.
Because I don’t have the same leverage as a 10k account the ROI should be more inline with what my system has pegged.
So now we start fresh…
