Million dollar Pips - No trades :(

Hi for everyone. I wish all of you the high profits.

I bought this EA but it has not entered into any transaction for 2 days.
I read all the instructions, I tried different settings and nothing.
I tried the demo and live account with a broker recommended by the seller (ThinkForex) on server and VPS recommended bythe seller (forexvps.com). Ping the broker is about 5 ms

Do you have any idea what could be the reason?

Engineered Solutions seems to be the smartest guy in the room, so Iā€™ll direct this question at him/you.

MDP worked great for months. No worries. Then all of a sudden it started placing Buy- and SellStop orders, and never filling them. In other words, whereas previously the MT4 logged Buy- and Sell- orders, it began just placing BuyStop and SellStop orders ā€“ never getting filled.

In looking over log files of both filled and unfilled spike occurences, itā€™s not unusual for the EA to place stop orders, but previously those were [always?] converted to mkt/filled orders.

There are no error messages in log files or otherwise. Speed is sufficient and consistent. One suspicion is that Iā€™m trading fixed qtyā€™s not using the Risk% function, but basing risk on my own portfolio algoā€™s. That makes the bot perhaps perceive that acct risk is higher than it really is, but it SAYS itā€™s ā€œstill trading with Actual riskā€ as opposed to the system Risk setting.

Any ideas amigo? Much appreciated!

Same what was happening to me
I bought MDP done ping tests to brokers, have 1.2.0 version contacted vendor as no trades in 3 days, he told me to alter certain elements which I did it opened and closed 4 trades and lost, two winning trades, loss and a win overall loss of $27.95 in 1 day. I have asked for a refund as I kept altering as the vendor advised but to no avail.
It keeps saying slow connection, too many attempts rejected by broker, the time taken to get signal to broker too slow even though I done ping tests and the ping tests came back a lot lower than MDP was saying.
The vendor has now gone quite because I asked for my money back BEWARE!!!

now 10 trades 7 were losses and 3 small wins loss of nearly $28 in 3 days it hardly trades, I tried all the alterations he told me to make when asked for a refund vendor ignores BEWARE so far he has had 5 days to refund.
06/02/2012.
Please note that this vendor ignores emails when you ask for a refund, they now make another EA fast forex millions.
I am fair with people unless they are not fair with me.

This is a great place to learn forex.I like to know about the configuration

If you mean Million dollar pips, version 1.2.0 february 2012, default settings, donā€™t have the EA now so canā€™t give details.

Lets waiting William Morrison for reply

go to clickbank and get a refund now, I have been reading up on other peoples experiences.

It means this EA (MDP) is SCAMā€¦?

No, i think he has not found the right broker yet. Seems to be working for most people.

I tried Hotforex with same version, works good actually. Letā€™s see what will we get after a week

I went with Hotforex currenex as meantioned on a previous message which MDP is meant to run ok on, ping tests where done to check time taken between my pc and Hotforex and where deemed excellant, I had latest version 1.2.0.
which version did you have?

MDP works. But since it trades spikes which happen mostly during news releases you can run into a major loss during high impact news releases such as Nonfarm Payroll if the tiny stop losses of MDP are not filled where you want them. During NFP I have seen stop loss levels be missed by 50 - 75 pips. So what would happen if MDP opens 50 + trades during a NFP release, and some of the trades donā€™t close at their 1 - 10 pip stop loss, but instead close 50 pips away while the lot sizes are 0.5 etcā€¦In this situation MDP can wipe out your account with one blow within a minute or 2 unless you use very conservative settings, or disable trading during NFP and similar high impact news releases.

Happy to hear it is still working for someone!

As I mentioned above in the last post MDP can be profitable, but if you use MDP use very low risk settings during NFPā€¦and also possibly during USD Interest Rate release in case there is ever a surprise.

During the last NFP 6 of my MDP trades didnā€™t close at the 8 pip stop loss because the market was moving too fast. Instead they closed between 48 - 75 pips past the stop loss. Within 2 minutes MDP triggered 100 trades that day and my account would have stayed about the same (same amount of wins as losses etc.) if it were not for the 6 large losses which, in the end, put my account below my starting balance. Later in June my account is only $160 above my starting balance.
