So can someone start with $4 when starting?
There are app brokers who will offer you a free trading platform to lose your capital.
Yes you can, but do check the minimum deposit requirement with your broker.
Also, with $4 do not expect to make any returns, but yes if you are a complete beginner, i would say something like $100 would be more sensible.
4$ is not a good amount to start. For live trading experience a trader at least should invest 50$. It’s better to use cent account than normal account. But before investing any money one should focus on developing trading knowledge and skills.
Technically you can if you can find a broker with no minimum deposit requirement.
It’s more realistic to find a company that will accept a minimum deposit of around $10.
It’s also true that it’s better to start with slightly more if you can afford it, but there’s nothing wrong with starting small and working your way up. After all, it’s better to have the drive to start with what you have than to sit around and talk about how you’ll open an account one day…then one day may never come.
Yes, anyone can. You just have to make sure that your broker allows you to do so. Look for brokers that don’t have any account minimum requirements.
Searching for minimum deposit accounts reveals the wrong attitude to trading - decisions driven by fear, the fear of being wiped out. If you don’t have a consistently profitable strategy, you will definitely lose all your money. Its not something to fear might happen, it will definitely happen. You don’t need to open a small account to know this.
Before you decide how much to deposit, open a free demo account and understand a simple strategy. Trade it until you are consistently profitable. Until that day, do not place even one dollar with a broker.
I am curious to know what you want to achieve with $4
I think if you use a cent account, you might be able to place a few trades.
Cent accounts are surely good for practice.
I agree but they aren’t really helpful. A minimum investment of $500 should be done when one begins trading.
There are brokers that accept $10 as minimum deposit. There may be some that accept $4 as well. However, you may need to invest way more than that to earn a decent amount of money. Most probably, you are going to start live trading. I suggest that you trade on demo account. Be confident with your strategy. Then, think about live investment. If you do not earn a decent amount, there is no point of trading live. Moreover, if you can not take demo trading seriously, you won’t be able to trade on live account accordingly.
Lol, Tenkofx even accepts $1 minimum on a cent account. Not that it matters anyway, it only gives new traders room to try out features with the smallest unit.
Now about a minimum deposit, there are some broker offers a low minimum deposit for a small trading budget, even with $1, but this is not sufficient amount to start trading, if already skilled in trading and successful demo trading, I think $100 is good to start real trading.
