Interesting trades, Misfer.
Good luck with both the trades and the thread (but clearly these trades have absolutely no relation to “scalping” at all!)
hi my friend…
thank you …
but i have a question?
what do you know about Scalping?
tell me to i can respond?
anyway…
a Scalping is
few pips in few time(2hours-hour-mintues)and so on
/ and it dosent matter what strategy do you use!
look up to my charts!what do you relize?
look the next chart is not Scalping /
it called Swing(very long of time) (more than days and more)
have fun
This isn’t right at all. Sorry, but that’s just not what “scalping” means.
“Scalping” is covering the spread.
For all the reasons explained here (and in a hundred other threads here and in other forums, and in dozens of trading books and on loads of websites), retail forex-trading and scalping are mutually exclusive.
Whether trading is “swing trading” has nothing to do with the trade durations. There’s such a thing as intraday swing trading, too. And even intra-hour swing trading.
If you look in a standard book on swing trading (the one by Alan Farley is the best known “classic” but there are loads of others, too) this point is usually very clearly made on page 1!
It will be helpful for the forum’s members to know that these trades are NOT actually “scalping” (and also you’ll get much more interest in them that way, as there obviously aren’t many scalpers in a retail spot forex-trading forum!).
Good luck!
hi…Belive me it is Scalping…
the thing you mean is Spread!
read about it on Internt…
good luck
You’re mistaken, altemsah007.
That doesn’t matter, but perhaps it’s not a great idea to be so dismissive of someone who’s been in the industry for decades and is simply trying to help you.

read about it on Internt…[/quote]
I think that’s perhaps what you’ve done yourself - which would account for your being rather misinformed about what “scalping” is - there’s a hell of a lot of misinformation on the web, because it’s not checked for quality and anyone can claim (or repeat) any old nonsense.
This definitely isn’t scalping at all. It isn’t even like scalping.
But welcome to BP and good luck with your Journal anyway!
hi Lukas::
here is the definition of what Scalpins means/
read it and tell mt is that Scalpin or not…
good luck
It isn’t actually but that makes no difference, because that isn’t what you’re doing anyway.
hhhh-- anyway thanks for you…
To be fair, that’s actually wrongly explained in the course. Many people have commented on it.
I just wanted to say “Sorry” for starting off what’s perhaps turned into a distraction in your thread, Misfer. My point was simply that many more members will potentially read it and be interested if you take “Scalping” out of the heading, because it’s a forum for (mostly) retail forex traders, who can’t “scalp” the market anyway.
Looking forward to seeing more of your trades - good luck!

Hi Misfer, I too was a counter trend trader like yourself once, have you been schooled in market harmonics and pattern recognition ? These tools would really add to your skill set. Cheers
