I’d really like to learn MQL5 but don’t know which is the best way to do it. There’s a new book on MQL4 that’s available on Amazon, but what’s the point in learning that if MT5 is slated for release shortly?

Does anyone have any comprehensive recommended resources for learning MQL5, as I know it’s supposed to be vastly different from MQL4. I saw MetaQuotes posted a book for MQL4, but who knows how long it will take for MQL5.

Nope, MQL4 would be the way to go.

There are differences but if you have a solid MQL4 base, the step to MQL5 will be no problem.

They are a lot of resources available for MQL4 but not so many for MQL5, and I suspect that its going to be a year before we are seriously into the release of MT5.
