Hi all, I’m trying to set myself up and learn the ropes on MT4 and MQL4. I’ve barely started and it’s going about as smoothly as a back country road.
Firstly, I wanted to add an EA to MT4. The tutorials made it look easy enough, then when I went to copy/paste my downloaded EA into the Experts folder in MT4 - there was no experts folder in MT4!
I was able to find it in an obscure location under my MetaEditor 4 files though…
Secondly, I thought it would be a good idea to learn the ropes of creating an EA. Again, internet makes it look easy enough, until I went to find the Expert Advisor (generate) and it wasn’t there! Thoughts? Is this just a new version that’s taken it out?
I hope these are just “haha I’m dumb” kind of issues, and I’m hoping you folks can help me see the errors in my ways. Thanks!
