Does anyone know how to set up MT4 to display my local time on the charts or have an indicator that would do it. Thanks
There are plenty of free MT4 clock indicators.
As far as I know… The market watch time is bound to the trading server’s time… so cannot be changed by default.
I did a quick google. search and found an indicator that lists local time and all the major markets time around the world. shows the times on your chart.

I found many clock indicators also. I was looking for something that would let me scroll back through the charts and at a glance see what time a move happened. For some reason I suck at doing time zone calculations in my head:confused:
I am trying to compare news release times and market open and close times to moves I see on a chart.
I ended up just making a spread sheet I input the MT4 time it tells me my time and GMT. I am going to add the OANDA time and make it so I can enter any one of the various times I have to look at and it spits out the rest. I should learn to script with MQL 4.
I just found out that my OANDA charts can display any time zone. 
oanda is in my time zone EST. About the only conversions I do is to GMT and that’s easy, just add 5. I have just the right amount of fingers on one hand lol
