Hi guys,
Anyone using MT5 with Myfxbook? downloaded the EA from myfxbook and it’s not working. I know myfxbook were having some trouble with MT5 applications, but I assumed this had been sorted by now?
I don’t really know but once I was not able to enable it because I forgot to put the dll in place, you need to download both the EA and the dll, or their wizard does both.
Manual Installation
If you are unable to use the installer, you can download the needed files here: MyfxbookEA.dll and Myfxbook.ex4:
- Place the MyfxbookEA.dll file in libraries folder of your MT4 installation.
- Place the Myfxbook.ex4 file in the experts folder of your MT4 installation.
- Restart MT4.

Just scrapped myfxbook in favor of MT4i (which also runs MT5 despite the website name) - looks a lot more fluent and user friendly. Thanks for your input though!

excellent - I had some issues with MyFxBook and MT5 it wasn’t showing the true figure for my trading history. Now using MT4i and it’s awesome 
very little use it because for some weeks it became mandatory to give your investor password for which they manipulated my comments and even stole my investment strategy being published for just over 100 USD. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
