My name is Gaius, I’m looking to learn to trade because I think it makes sense that I learn to do so as an Economics major. Many of my seniors have started trading as a fulltime career either for institutions or for themselves. When I asked them where they thought I should start, they told me to start here. My goal isn’t necessarily to get rich or earn an income from trading but to understand it better. Of course, I’ll be funding my accounts but only with money I can afford to lose and without unrealistic expectations of getting rich. I also hope to join the investment society in my school which necessitates some prior experience.
I think you’re off to a very good start! You have the right mindset, goals, and expectations.
I guess being an economic major also made you more aware about the pros and cons of trading forex!
Have you started with the school?

There is a saying that, ‘Work hard and money will follow’, which fits right in your case because you want to understand forex trading. You know that understanding forex will eventually lead to flow of cash, but the problem with forex is that it is quite volatile, so what you learn about today might become irrelevant tomorrow. So, you have to keep updating your knowledge, keep practicing new strategies to become an expert trader.
