I am trading for more than 12 years now. Started in 1999 with stocks and after 2002 I started with forex. Back then of course I lost a lot of money…like everybody else, because there was nobody to explain to me the most important, basic stuff, like money managment, patience, how to control your emotions and having discipline. I have created my own system over they years and I use only some EMa’s combined with market volatility plus my experience of course.
My advise:Find a system that you like, have patience and learn to “read” the charts. Don’t be affraid and never risk more than 1% on each and every trade you do, until you make about 20% profits!

I prefer risk 1%-3%, start trading with minimum investment, using chart to analysis market trend. I also prefer to being updated with latest market trend.
also learn all candlestick patterns, it is not easy, just study one per week, each pattern has it’s own volatility and it’s probability, most traders just ignore candlestick patterns, knowing that tool will give you and advantage among the others.

Though you have valid points there, but I am still waiting for the actual trading system that you use. :)… When do you actually start Forex buddy? You meant 2002 I believe? Camping here for your system.

Hi Traders and sorry for the delay! I did not have time to update the post with my trading system basics, charts and explanations, but I will start adding everything step by step,ok. Just give me some time to gather enough material. I am trading my system (spartan trader fx system) for over 8 years now and also manage funds with it. Don’t worry about if it “works or not”, it sure does, but you still have to practice sticking to the rules. I am just letting you know, that this is most important part if you want to survive and grow a trading account steady for many years to come…just one question, because I am not that experienced with forums. Do I post my charts and everything right here as “reply”, or do I need to start with a new post? Just let me know and I will start trying to help you guys as well as I can! Thanks for now.
