I have a portfolio managed account at ironfx and it is much better result than what I have achieved myself. I am new to trading, maybe less than 6 months, but I didn’t do so well by my own. One day I was speaking with my account manager at ironfx and they told me about this. Yes as you say we have to share some profit from the performance fee but I am getting better return now than what i did on my own.
There are many way of money management like investment in property, policies or may be trading. Trading is a fastest way of money management. In trading one can make money in short days. You can invest in Forex market for manage your money.
I would propose you don’t fully rely on the EA. Make sure that you understand the logic followed by the EA and ALWAYS go manual if the EA trades are not making sense to you
