Hello Sara,
you are very welcome.

Hi Sara and welcome to the world of Babypips…

Like you, I ‘was’ scared and am still rather nervous about the whole forex thing, but just over four weeks in, it’s amazing how much I’ve learned since being here… The guys and gals here (mostly guys I think) are just excellent at helping us newbies out.

And it’s so good to have another girl come on board - the more the merrier I say!

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions I may be able to answer - though I know everyone has has been quite brilliant at answering ‘my’ never ending questions…

So again, welcome, ask away and do contact me if you need anything,

Jessey

PS. Nice to ‘see’ you Sheryl - hope all is going well with you and your learning curve…
Great picture by the way in the other intro/forum bit

Hi Jessey,

It is good to see you too… wow! Already 4 weeks? time flies. I am doing good so far. I am watching EUR/USD at the moment. News comes out later today that the S&P downgraded Spain credit rating so EUR will get hurt on this one. Watch out for the sell off… yah, those 2 pics are my most recent one… Thank you… glad you like it  Did you post yours too? I couldnt remember if you did…but Ill check…

Talk to you gals soon…Happy Trading

Thanks girls for the warm welcome!!! I’m sorry it took so long to respond, I have two kids, 10yrs and 9mnths, plus I’m 7mnths pregnant. So, I have a lot going on! LOL…I do look forward to communicating with you guys!

DOn’t get me wrong with this but in the real world because of the lack of opportunities women tend to be perfectionists and try to be the best wich is good out there but here is THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO, try to be the best here and you will die like the rest. If you cannot tolerate errors or mistakes well, you will not last for too long. If you celebrate success too much or get depressed by failure you will last as much as all dead accounts around. There is a mini serie on youtube called “Million Dollar Traders” I recommend you to watch it and take special attention to Cleo and Emile, DON’T BE LIKE THEM. Cleo just got the “traders paralize sindrome” and Emile had the “Big Guy Macho sindrome”. Instead Caroline just sat on her chair and remained almost anonymus during the show, she learned quickly to move on and became the best trader of the group and I think because she was a natural Ice Pack.

That is the key be as cold as a body guard and fast as a sprinter but don’t be stupid as a trader. I deserve a price for that quote, just made it up.

I agree with you Mr. Gone… I did watch that “Millionaire Traders” series Season 1 and 2. I did remember Cleo. Her emotions everyday it seems all over the place. She is so undecided whether to place a trade or not when the opportunity was there or should I say, she is “afraid” to place any trade because she is a perfectionist.

Thankfully early on, I have learn that I have to accept losses and my mistakes but as long as I cut it short. There are moments that my emotions get in the way and just have to shut down my computer and walk away… It is very very painful when you feel defeated but I know that there is always opportunity the next day or the day after.

In trading, you don’t have to be perfect either. You just have to wait and look for the opportunity, grab it and take it and forget about the rest. Correct me if I am wrong. Is it also true that you don’t have to be always right because the market will do whatever it wants too?

I am now starting to learn to always to keep my emotions in check all the time. Know my target and get out…
I still have a lot of work to do….

Thank you I do appreciate your input….

P.S : Yes I do like your Quote
