Evening all,
I’ve never traded before, but Forex has caught my eye. I have a little money to invest and want to make sure I’m putting my best foot forward. I’ve seen far to many people get stung by Signal “Gurus” and want to learn this the old fashioned way.
So hit me up, or guide my down the correct path!

Put your money away in a safe place and keep it there for now. Head over to the education tab and work through the course there. Then get practicing on a demo account and use that to expose yourself to the markets. Ask questions, there are no stupid ones.

Thanks for the advice. I’m slowly working my way through the education as that was one of my main reasons for joining this community. Is there any apps you’d recommend to use either on the web or android?
I appreciate the warm welcome also, glad to see a community and not individuals.
I would say download Trading View which is good for chart analysis and widely used (just the website on web). Also you can download a generic MT4 or MT5 app to hook up to your broker for demo and live trading (will be specific to the broker on computer).
As you are just starting out, I would just create a practice account where you can try and test all your strategies before risking your money.
