New trader here, and even though my trade volume is at the minimum, I must say it’s been fun. I like scenario that challenge my mind and forex trade pattern seem to be a good fit. The fun of prediction exercise with little experience I have from reading and following other traders has truly help me build confident. I’m 33 years old from Nigeria. It funny to think that I’ve been around internet nearly 2 decades and I never given forex trade a chance. Honestly I can make this a fulltime job and ready to share my idea and follow professional ideas. I believe i’m a good candidate for this trading because i can be around computer all day analaysing and seeing market movement, I’m open to making new friends. God bless

Hello and welcome. I know nothing about you, but here are some statements that you should consider very seriously if you want to do this.
- 99% of people who try, lose money trading forex.
- You will lose money before being profitable.
- You may never become profitable.
- Time to study will not make you better at trading.
- If you can’t afford to lose money, you shouldn’t put it in to trading.
I’m not trying to scare you, these are facts about the industry. You need to be tough mentally and disciplined if you’re ever going to make it. Being intelligent is not the most important part, you don’t need to be a genius to trade well. But you do need to be able to control yourself, manage your risk and have a mentality that can take losing.

Thank you chesterjohn for your response and being absolutely critical with it. I took every of your sentence into register and I’m aware the possible risk and exposure of my investment and i intend to not rush big move for lots and positions but only stick to making small income while i build my account. I started with a $100 live account, this is after a few weeks on demo account and I’m beating myself hard enough to stay profitable while managing risk by not using more than 0.02 lot and 30pips SL. I’m aware of the loss and even tough I do not intend to lose which is also inevitable, my strategy is to profit more than loss. I work from home 80% of times and I can stay on computer during all the trading hours. I just do scalping for now and always keep eyes on price action and also taking other traders discussions. I just followed you and I will like to be a profitable trader through this community. Peace and Love
