A good start is to work your way through the School on this site Then you need to think about brokers, demo accounts, size of deposits, your trading time frame and your risk/reward requirements. etc .etc and so on and so on - and THEN you start trading and THEN the fun starts…

Being a newbie you should start by getting your concepts clear regarding Forex trading. Only theory won’t work, You would need to start brushing your trading skills by trading in demo account. This would definitely help you with better understanding and more knowledge of the markets. Demo accounts, I feel, re the best way to start your trading. when you feel that you are enough comfortable with the markets then start trading in live account.
