I personally would never trust such a program.

Are you are referring to the automated trading software (written in MQL4) for use on the MetaTrader currency trading platform?
If so, there is much information available on MQL4.com
There is an e-book with a great deal of information about Expert Advisors and how to create them along with a forum and an extensive code base full of ready made scripts, indicators and expert advisors.

Read Baby Pips School before anything else. It is a complete crash course of forex, that will give you a good grounding in forex.
