Good mindset. There is no short cut to experience. Practise and experiment on a demo account until you know your way around - choose a regulated broker, like TD365 or XTB. Avoid eToro.
Trading a live account is a whole new ball game. This is most traders’ Achille’s heel when managing emotional control, which is critical to success - and where most newbies blow their accounts by overtrading, revenge trading and gambling at high risk.
Also, dreams of making money requires a hefty starting capital, IMO, a minimum £1,000 account to make it worthwhile. Even then, keeping an essential low risk process is unlikely to generate enough money to cover your lifestyle expenses.
With a 5K -10K account and a few years of experience behind you, that could be the path to eventual and consistent profitability.
So don’t give up your day job yet.
BTW, when you first choose to go live, play around with a £100 account. You will learn heaps at low cost. Best of luck.
Nice, take it easy and start learning. If you are looking for free content, have a look at YouTube. If you are looking for a mentorship/course/group then Phantom Trading are great, for a monthly fee.
Hope this helps and good luck.
Wish you very good luck for your future.
