Newbie to forex and the forum!

Hi all, my names roy, live in london, i have been interested in forex trading for quite a while, but only the last few months ive really got into researching it properly! I’m at the point now where i understand everything up to the point of day/swing trading analysis, i know how forex is traded, currencies,i have myself a broker with demo and live account, i do not intend to use my live account until i have done an immense amount of backtesting! Should get interesting though, this looks like an awesome forum to learn

Guys can I ask what your opinion is on who has the best trading platforms to use.

I got used to IG but people tell me their spreads are high, I am trying activtrades but not sure enough yet. My main confusion is that I download Meta4 and Meta 5 but they seem poor in performance to me. Being a newbie how can I tell for sure at this stage so any feedback would be so appreciated.

Thanks guys
I am here to for help if I can!

Welcome you and glad to hear that.
