Thanks a lot for your replies! Well, I guess Talon_D knows my reason to ask.
So far I am still seeking for an entry signal which could stand a backtest of an EA to prove it is better than a coin toss. I mean, a signal completely apart from mm or other techniques which step later into the strategy. To check that: The EA would have to buy or sell on that signal with the same sl and tp values. If the signal is of value over the coin toss, it must give some profit over time. If not, the signal is not better than coin toss.
My point is: Until now I didn’t find any reliable technical entry signal. All signals of my own theory and others until now show me: 50:50 or worse over EURUSD for 2 years. My EA makes some steady money in backtest, but this is unfortunately only going on with proper mm. So, it’s something like gambling and a gambling system. Nothing wrong with gambling, but I am investor, not a gambler. My mind stage right now is that without a proper fundamental signal, those technical signals are not better than that flipping coin. If anybody would prove me wrong, I’d appreciate that, because then I could code an EA as a money maker machine.
