Within a few days. If you are using the Babypips school, I actually would take an indicator that was mentioned, and then practice just going through the motion of using that indicator on two or three different platforms.
You will understand pretty quick its one thing to learn the science behind indicators, and its another thing to implement those indicators depending on what platform you use.
Perhaps start with the famous cawabunca system here in babypips.
