On my 4th week of gains. Is this realistic in the real market?

Here are 2 pictures of where I was when I first started about 4 weeks ago, to where I am now.

I started trading like 10% of my account at a time which was ridiculous honestly, but with some technical analysis I managed to come out on top with those risky trades.
I settled that down to about 1-4% of my account per trade with the permanent 50:1 leverage that the demo software gives you.

In 4 weeks time I have increased my account +10% which I think is damn good… but is it too good to be true?
Ive lost about 40% of my trades but my stop loss orders limit each of those losses, my limit orders are around +1% of my account (~$500) before I cash out on the trade.

Can I see this kind of gain in the real deal? I don’t plan on trading real cash till I have at least $10K ready to go.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks for

Can you see it or do it? Yes.
Are you going to repeat the same performance on real account? Hard to say.
Any way, I will recommend it to you to start trading and getting experience on same small real account and than you’ll know how good is your trading strategy. Usually, all those trading strategies developed on demo account are going to fail once you move to real trading.

Why is that the case though? What is the reasoning that a demo strategy wont work in the real market. Could you ellaborate so I have a feel for why

Can you provide better images from now on ?

It is a difference between demo and real account, and it depends on the instrument your trading. (It’s liquidity)
You will feel the difference once you increase your position size.
Anything up to 10k (0.1 LOT or 10000 units) is not a big deal. It should feel the same.
If you want to study more search for pair volatility and go with those that have low volatility at 1H, 8H, 24H and 1M.

If your strategy works in demo, it will work on a live account.

The difference will be, what happens in the space between your ears when you make the switch.

Yes and no.

Many things are possible in this market so yes, it’s doable.

No, it’s not realistic because the market is dynamic and along the way in the future (with your real account) you will encounter different market scenarios that might screw your strategy for a little bit.
