I’m also interested in news trading, and i heard some news like NFP may fluctuated more than 150pips in one minute, but how to trade them, any suggestion:)
If you’re trading on a kind of intermediate to longer-term basis where you expect to be holding positions for a week or more, then you need not give much thought to the data releases. The only time they might trip you up is if price moves close to your stop prior to a major one and it generates a reaction against your position. In that case, though, you could argue that the trade was already questionable anyway.
