I just hit the X to exit a chart from MT4 rather than the - by mistake. That means I just lost all the markups on that chart as hitting the X to exit removes it from the list of charts in MT4. I’ve actually made this mistake several times before, duh! Does anybody know of a way to recover that exited chart with it’s mark-ups, or do I just have to mark up a chart from scratch again?
once you get it marked up the way you want. I assume you mean indicators trend lines and such, you can save that as a template. It’s one of those little icons at the top of metatrader. you can then apply that template to any chart.
OK, Thanks. Wish I had done that, but now that I know, I’ll do it with my others to prevent making the same mistake again.
