< or > for C-Book?

Hi,

  1. Initial date:

In this lesson, at “Partial Hedge”, we have this information:

“So far, you’ve seen how a broker can fully hedge (=100%) against a customer’s position, known as A-Book. And you’ve seen how a broker can partially hedge (>100%) against a customer’s position, known as C-Book.”

  2. Question:

Instead of “>100%”, it should have been “<100” for partially hedge (C-Book) ?

yes, this is right

it’s also possible for counterparty brokers effectively to overhedge, and lay off “>100%”, but this is called in the trade “front-running”, not “hedging” - its what happens when they have a consistently profitable customer they’re keeping on because his trades are actually worth their while following with the firm’s money, i.e. very, very rarely indeed!
