Pending order execution slow

I’m a newbie and using some broker but I have 2 problems with this broker.

  1. There is a limit on where I can move my stop loss to. Is this normal?

  2. When I have pending orders, they often take time to execute. Is this normal?

Should I change the broker or what?

Please assist.

In all honesty, I would do some research on the best brokers around, read reviews and go from there.

Not all brokers are created equally unfortunately.

  1. Yes.
  2. How long are they taking to execute?

@Jbrad94

  1. But I suspect this broker is restricting it too much. I choose them because of low spread, but the stop loss issue is disrupting my trading plans.

  2. It’s a few seconds. I’ve noticed that a place got to a level and moved away quickly, and the order remained unexecuted. I just noticed a wick at that level.

I must say this is not such a huge issue for me, the stop loss issue is the real problem for me.

@REaley thanks. I’ve done a bit of research and decided on this broker.

Glad you got things sorted

I don’t have such issues with the broker I use. I think you should try other brokers to see the difference.

I use Forexchief, I find that the orders I place are executed promptly and the stop-loss is placed at the exact position I desire. If you are up for trying an overseas broker, you can give Forexchief a try.
